Your MRI Says “Normal”—
But You’re Still in Pain

Why static imaging misses what Digital Motion X-Ray reveals

Precision Chiropractic West

It is one of the most frustrating experiences a person in chronic pain can go through. You know something is wrong. You feel the constant ache, the debilitating dizziness, or the strange neurological symptoms that make getting through the day a monumental task. You wait weeks for an MRI or a CT scan, hoping for an answer, only to have the doctor look at the results and say, “Everything looks normal.”

But you are still in pain.

If this sounds like your story, please know that you are not crazy, and your pain is not in your head. The problem often lies in the technology used to diagnose you. Traditional MRIs and CT scans are static—you are lying perfectly still while the image is taken. However, most injuries to the ligaments in your neck, such as whiplash or craniocervical instability (CCI), only reveal themselves when your body is in motion.

This is why we brought the Digital Motion X-Ray (DMX) to our clinic. As the only DMX imaging center in Iowa, we record real-time, full-motion X-ray imaging of your joints while you move.

This technology allows us to visually prove the specific ligamentous instability causing your symptoms—providing the irrefutable evidence that other scans miss. We can correlate that with existing MRI/CT observations to better determine if neurovascular compromise may be occurring with joint motion.

A “No Guesswork” Philosophy

My practice is built on a “no guesswork” philosophy, a commitment I made when establishing this company in 2007. I have been Board Certified in the Atlas Orthogonal (BCAO) technique since 2006 and have completed extensive post-graduate training in head/neck trauma, advanced imaging, advanced biomechanics, risk management, and complex case management—curriculum that I now teach.

For patients suffering specifically from CCI, I utilize training I received extensively, one-on-one, with Dr. Scott Rosa, a world-renowned authority on craniocervical injuries.

This deep, advanced training allows me to identify the exact source of your pain and create a precise, data-driven plan to correct it.
