Answer

I get this question a lot.  Many of my patients have been through the gamut of treatments, from shots to pills to acupuncture.  Some get partial relief, some get none. There is an effective alternative.  In most cases, migraine sufferers have a simple misalignment at the top of their neck.  The top bone of the neck, called the “atlas”, is part of a very freely movable joint that can misalign quite easily.  This bone directly articulates with the vertebral artery as it enters into the cranium and the nerves as they branch off the brainstem at the base of the skull.  When this bone misaligns, one or both of these structures can become irritated and inflamed.  This can sometimes lead to migraine headaches.

It is quite simple and painless to correct this misalignment.  My patients enjoy gentle, very precise correction of misalignment with no twisting or popping of the neck or back.  I use a technique called Atlas Orthogonality, and I am one of only approximately 375 doctors worldwide who are Board Certified to perform this technique.

I myself suffered from severe and frequent migraine headaches in my younger years.  Shots and pills didn’t even tough my pain.  Nothing helped until I went to a doctor who did this very same technique.  It has now 13 been years since I’ve suffered from any migraine pain.  Now I have made a career out of helping others the same way.
